Secretarial ComplianceThe National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL) on June 05, 2026, issued a circular regarding VPN-based internet connectivity.

The following has been stated:-

•NSDL has introduced IPsec VPN-based internet connectivity as an additional primary connectivity option between Participants’ DPM systems and NSDL, effective from July 01, 2026. 

•This complements the existing MPLS-based connectivity framework. Participants must ensure continuous electronic communication between the DPM and DM systems in accordance with NSDL Business Rules. 

•The measure aims to provide greater flexibility and reliability in depository system connectivity.
